Cryptic caves

Very close, and probably close enough to win - but what's another name for a pint glass?
I am struggling a bit here. I know there is a Shatter Pot somewhere on Fountains Fell but that does not fit the letter count....I'll come back to this mid-afternoon.

Apologies, I typed the letter count wrong, sorry to waste your time thinking of a 4 letter word (hopefully not too rude) - Shatter Pot it is. Over to you.

This is Les’s dig, don’t confuse it with something that is three times a cave.

7,3

Clue:

Note that as this is Greengrocer’s’ week, the answer includes an apostrophe as well as the letter counts.

No offers after two days eh? The site may be obscure but the route to the answer is not. Time for another clue.

Clue 2
The first four words of the puzzle are literally true and indicates what type of site it is. (Admittedly the name will only help very few people.)

Palmer's dig? totally guessing here according to the length and as I assume it's a Mendip dig if you're referring to Les W, but also have absolutely no idea about mendip digs or any of Les' digs

No, but you are thinking along the right lines. By the way, who is Les W? (I'll respond to your answer clarifying one or perhaps two red herrings.)

I've been thinking along the same lines. I'm trying to find some candidates that fit the letter count and work backwards to see which fit the clue, but my knowledge of caves isn't broad enough and I haven't found the right bit of cave registry yet. It may be the same "Three times a cave" you used in a previous clue but perhaps that's a red herring. I think Les W is Les Williams?

Les Williams, although I can't say I really know him, he's the only les I was able to find on ukcaving and it lead me to Mendip
