Looks like Alex has to find a photo:

Chris Batt, Chris Craig, Ray Deasy, Mike Dale. Parting of the ways, DYO

Great, I recognised some faces, but could not remember their names.  Did I take the photo?  I think it dates back to the 1960s before the cave was reopened to the public.

This cave may be a little obscure, but it is in selected caves:

Just looked it up in my Log Book.  The date was 17th April 1960 LB No 7.

I was there yesterday Skippy yes, but as I think you know that's not the cave in question.

Off topic but is the Plume of Feathers at Rickford still going?

I think you were with me in an Aber group who ran from Burrington Combe to the Plume of Feathers in muddy kit one day, afraid we would miss lunchtime opening. Enquiring through the open door if the landlord minded us coming in covered in mud, he welcomed us in and we had time for a couple of excellent pints.

.

Tony is correct on the date of the photo, it's one of collection that came from Geoff Roberts (some wrongly labelled 1961) of an MNRC long weekend in Wales

Nope, but I can see why you think that. Clue, it's actually NOT the Dales.

Although Geoff isn't in any of the pics, but you are in some?

Anyway, Alex, does that mean it's North Wales?

There aren't any caves anywhere near anything like as clean as that in North Wales  :ang:
A door, once opened, may be stepped through in either direction.
