SUSS entry 1 - An impromptu first attempt at cave photography, after requiring a GPS to locate the entrance to Voldemorts meant I took my phone underground. Here we see Conor reclining to take in the sights of the Haywagon.

(if anyone knows how to rotate the photo hit me up!)

SUSS entry 2 - a photo series. Conor has a religious experience through the sheer beauty of Bull Pot, while Corin looks on unimpressed.

I call this 'The Lonely Caver'

{posting on behalf of SUSS}

Background info:

This photo means a lot to me! I was very doubtful at the time about if I really wanted to continue caving and if it was the right sport for me. My self-esteem on caving trips tends to be very low, but when I stood in this spot for the first time this year and saw this 'lonely caver' looking out onto the drop below, I knew at that moment that this is something I needed to continue doing. It was a feeling of fulfilment in my adventurous side whilst acknowledging the lonely feeling and darkness of the sport.-the unknown. All of that- whilst knowing that it's not lonely at all. We have each other. There may not be very many cavers on this planet, but when we're together, we can push past any unknown territory together. I felt all this in this moment. I put the camera down and did my first ever SRT trip. I've never looked back.

Hi Loz, I liked your picture of Pridhamsleigh . . . but wondered if it was a bit dark (alright, it's a cave!).
So I took the liberty of dragging it to my desktop and 'tweaking' it inthe bog-standard photo-tool that came with my computer (no fancy Photoshop here); do you think it's an improvement?
